Southwest via Southwest

After a few days in Austin, TX;  I found my self very eager to start the next leg of my trip....Santa Fe, NM;...For a very long time,  I had this huge intrigue with the Southwest.  Everything about the Southwest has always captivated me.  The landscape, the colors, the adobe style architecture and all the sheer beauty.  Whenever, I would see a movie which featured scenes from the Southwest; I would fall into a day dream about being there.  Thanks to Southwest Airlines and a $95.00 ticket; my time had come to see the Land of Enchantment.

I flew from Austin, to Dallas to Albuquerque for about three hours,  Looking out the window of the airplane as we approached ABQ; I grew more excited.  The excitement lasted until we were landing and were a few feet off the ground of the runway;  when the pilot had to lift the plane back up into the air.  This certainly freaked out a lot a people on the airplane.  Apparently, there was another plane which was still in the line-up for take off.   So we were back in the air and my excitement was temporarily dashed.  We headed back and looped around for another landing.  Finally, I touched ground in the Southwest.  Thanks, Southwest!
